What do we collect?
We collect items relating to Macarthur and District from the time of European settlement to the present day. Items include maps, books, documents, photos, newspapers, journals, ledgers, memorabilia and bric-a-brac.
Items are collected by donation, exchange or transfer with
other museums, or bequests.
Donating items

All donations are to be approved by the Acquisition committee.

The Committee considers relevance, condition, documentation, storage and display.
-
Duplicate items will only be considered if of superior quality.
-
We do not accept conditional donations, or permanent or long- term loans.
-
We cannot accept large agricultural implements.
-
The Committee reserves the right to de-accession items.
